Welcome to our final week of the quarter!
Today we kick off our Read-A-Thon with the assembly and our 4th annual Literacy Night. I hope you are all able to make it out to this fun filled evening. Please ensure that you sign up for fall conferences, . We return from fall break on Wednesday October 16th. In curriculum this week: We will continue our study of ancient Egypt. We will be discussing pharaohs and hieroglyphics. In science we will explore the grassland habitat and create a zebra book. We will read the Cinderella stories from China, the Carribean, Native America and Mexico. We will conclude this unit by writing our own version of this classic fairy tale. In math we will discuss ordinal numbers. Spalding: some, if, how, her, them, other, baby, well, about men, man, for, ran, run, was, that, his, led, lay We wish you all a relaxing and safe fall break!
