We are happy to be back into the swing of the school and are looking forward to our first full week of the second quarter! Thank you for your responses to our literary character day dress up. I can't wait to see everyone!
In literature we will be learning about the saying "sour grapes". We will also read Puss in Boots, The Frog Prince and Rumplestiltskin. Our October Poem is: The Swing by Robert Louis Stevenson How do you like to go up in a swing, Up in the air so blue? Oh, I do think it the pleasentest thing Ever a child can do! Up in the air and over the wall Till I can see so wide, River and trees and cattle and all Over the countryside-- Till I look down on the garden green, Down on the roof so brown-- Up in the air I go flying again, Up in the air and down!
